Meet the Special Education State Ombud Team

The Office of the Special Education Ombud is comprised of one State Special Education Ombud, three Regional Coordinators, two Consultants and an Intake Coordinator. This team of women have over 170 years of educational experience and over 65 years of experience in advocacy and family support. The OSEO team has teaching experience which spans multiple states from birth to age twenty-two. As educators, administrators, compliance officers, behavior specialists, and family advocates we have decades of experience helping students and families understand disability, self-advocacy, and strategies of success in pre-K, elementary, middle, high school and transition environments. Members of the OSEO Team have dedicated their careers to supporting people with all types of disabilities, and their families. We also support district staff in finding the bridge to success for all students in New Mexico.
