Welcome to Advocacy, Capacity Building and Systemic Change
Our Programs
“Nothing about us without us.”
NMDDC, like disabled peoples organizations around the world, believes in the active involvement of persons with disabilities in the planning of strategies and policies that affect their lives. The motto “Nothing About Us Without Us” sets the expectation that there be full participation and equalization of opportunities for, by and with persons with disabilities. *
We support New Mexicans with disabilities in their pursuit of self-determination, independence, productivity and integration in all facets of community life.
“Disability rights is the final frontier in this country’s fight for civil rights.”
